Photo opportunity. Everybody was renting weird bikes. Its not like tourists don't stand out enough.

On the edge of Balboa Penisula. Our beach house was about 50 yds away. We got to watch all the boats come in and out. And all the crazy people trying to surf or boogie board on the famous "wedge". The waves are huge and crash right on the shore, and once they hit the rocks the waves turn and go perpendicular with the shore. A lot of surfers were pummeled. It was entertaining.

McKayla loved the beach. Soakin up the sun rays with spf 50 of course.

We love the self portrait, hold the camera in front of you and hope your in it shots. McKayla looks confused, but she'll catch on.

Whale watching voyage! We saw a whale, a bunch of dolphins, and some sea lions. It was cool to be out on the ocean with the big swells and fun to get a different perscective of things.

I miss california all ready. We were able to lay out on the beach in 80° and coming home we had to bundle up to 3 " of snow on the ground. Brrrrrrrrr! We got off the plane in our shorts and flip-flops. Not too smart.
